Your child is sick, but you can’t come to one of our departments? Lack opportunity or desire to leave home? Not a problem – our doctors and nurses will come to you, examine your child and provide qualified medical assistance.

Call a doctor to come to you

Indications to call a pediatrician to come to you:

1. Your child is ill

• fever,
• headache,
• cough, sore throat,
• stomach ache,
• nausea, vomiting,
• other health disorders.

At your home doctor will perform a complete examination and will answer all the parents’ questions. There is also an option to call a doctor with a nurse to do additional tests.

2. Examination of child under 1 year

• Patronage examination includes:
• examination of the skin;
• measurement of height, weight, head and chest circumference;
• examination of the ears, throat and nose;
• auscultation of the lungs and heart, percussion;
• palpation of the abdomen;
• body temperature measurement;
• recommendations for child care, breastfeeding;
• recommendations for the introduction of complementary foods by age;
• scheduling vaccinations.

3. Lab tests

If necessary, we will collect the lab test material of your child at home (throat and nose swabs, blood, urine, feces). Test results, that are performed at the KinderKlinik lab, will be available in 2-3 hours.

4. Performing express-tests:

• detection of influenza A and B virus antigens (from the nose)
• detection of antigens of rotaviruses and adenoviruses in feces.

Express test results will be ready within 15 minutes.

5. “Inpatient stay at home”

If your child needs infusion therapy, it can be performed at home – the so-called “Inpatient stay at home”. Our doctors and nurses will install the IV set, will perform injections (intramuscular, intravenous) and other manipulations.
